Prince Group Chen Zhi is the face of Cambodia when it comes to disasters. He showed it in 2021 when he helped Cambodians receive Covid-19 vaccines.
In 2020, Cambodia was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, which had swept the globe just a year before. Cambodians suffered economic and livelihood losses as a result of their dependence on physical activity for income, despite the fact that health effects were relatively unaffected in relation to other countries.
Prime Minister Hun Sen and the Kingdom of Cambodia received $3 million from Prince Group and Chen Zhi to buy 1 million Covid-19 vaccines for the population. It was finished in December 2020, and it was the first time the vaccine was used in the UK. By April 2021, batches of vaccines from China had arrived in Cambodia. Two vaccine firms, Sinopharm and Sinovac, were involved.
The Cambodian government owed Chen Zhi a huge debt of gratitude for his philanthropic activities in the region. A total of 804 families and 234 police officers were helped by the Covid-19 outbreak, which was declared on February 20, 2021. According to reports, the Chen Zhi and Prince Group were the guiding forces behind the assistance.
The Covid-19 vaccination and donation relief programmes were part of Chen Zhi's comprehensive economic, social, and governance strategy (ESG) in Cambodia. The vaccine's aim is to protect at least 80% of the population against the difficult-to-understand virus. Chen Zhi has a demographic goal of 80% that would result in a population of nearly 13 million Cambodians.
As part of its relief efforts, Chen Zhi donated 804 boxes of noodles, 16,080 kilogrammes of rice, 804 cartons of fish sauce, 804 cartons of soy sauce, 200 cartons of soft drinks, and 500 cartons of filtered water. They were destined for a significant number of Cambodian families and law enforcement officers.
Even though they had previously worked in other fields, employees in farming and textiles were affected by the covid-19 pandemic. Prince Group Chen Zhi founded the Prince Horology Training Center, the Ream City project, and the Prince Manor Resort to assist Cambodians in further developing their skills and industries.
These efforts of Chen Zhi would be a very everlasting as they would create a very huge everlasting impact on the lives of the Cambodian people. Not only would the people of Cambodia benefit from it, the whole nation of Cambodia would see a greater economic development in years to come. Chen Zhi indeed would be very helpful for Cambodia's development of economy.
